It’s another Feel Good Friday at Helping Hands at First English! We’re getting ready for our end of the month cookout tomorrow!
At the end of the month (when the money runs out for a lot of our neighbors) we have a big cookout at Helping Hands while we give out grocery boxes. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be eaten, and birthday cake will be had for all of our August birthday friends.
Most importantly, COMMUNITY will be created. People will come together to sit and talk. Stories wil be shared, and there will be laughter.
This event is centered around extravagant hospitality and gospel love, two of the main values of Helping Hands.
There’s more than one way to be fed.
