Good Friday makes us think of the sacrifices made on our behalf. Of what extravagant, unconditional love can do—love you can’t possibly earn, but that can heal, make whole, and sustain.
At Helping Hands, our goal is not only to take care of basic needs, (although that is becoming more and more critical), but also to make connections with people and build relationships. This comes through respect and honoring the dignity inherent in all of us. We believe that through relationships and connections we are most able to affect true change in the lives of our guests, and therefore also health of our community.
